My Rainbows are loving this badge! Last night we made wings with coat hangers and tights, they made wands which they could wave in the Tell Me story. Our starter activity was colour in, cut and stick door hangers (found online, to finish at home). The week before they made fairy houses from resources we already had left over; plastic cup with a cupcake case roof, and they used sharpies to draw on doors and windows or they could cut out paper and stick on, completed with a foam fairy sticker. (The Mums loved them too!) Next week to finish off the half term they will come dressed as fairies in their wings and we will have a little food and drink, but also they will find out their Fairy Name and I think we may make some fairy doors as well, and play find the fairy! A great badge both in ideas and design - would reccomend!
